In his book The Experience Economy, Joe Pine exhorts consulting companies to make their work more engaging and transformational -- and points out that they should “stage memorable events that would enable clients to experience what it would be like to live in a world where the strategy has been achieved.”
Before Starizon Studio could impart such an approach to clients, we first had to take that advice ourselves – and think richly about the environments in which our work would be staged. From the outset, we realized that immersing clients in an inspirational and instructive Experience environment would be highly beneficial to our transformational work.
As a result, Starizon Studio takes special care to select locations to perform its client work, and to prepare those locations like “stages” where our ensemble of Guides will perform with our clients. We have secured a contingent of select meeting destinations around the country that are suited to this challenge. Each of these environments is prepared for the work using theatrical touches of themeing and propping (along with many other surprises) with the intent of creating a tailored stage. Much of the same effect can often be achieved even at a client’s own location.
Inside and around these Places, Starizon Studio stages convention-challenging sessions, personal experiences, and theatrical performances…providing a figurative stage that encourages creativity and inspirational work. It’s all because we knew that if we were to truly be in the transformation business ourselves that we would need special environments in which to stage our work and elicit true client change.
